Black Attack

Well here is my money pit...

2003 Ti-L

The car I purchased second hand in Sept '06 as standard so it has leather, sunroof and climate control.

Since then I have done the following:

- Rear brake light decal
- Colour coded mud flaps
- K&N air filter
- Hella "cool blue" headlight globes (brilliant)
- Thule roof mount bike carrier
- BFG A/T's !!!! (best decision ever)!!!

Soon to arrive:
- H.I.D kit from Jalal (cant wait)
- New exhaust system
- Genuine Nissan Nudge bar

Dreams:
- UHF radio
- Touch screen 7inch CD/DVD in the dash.
- 33" BFG Mud terrains..... haha

So far the car has been on some exciting trips!! emoticon

- Lake mountain snow driving last winter where I took the BFG's on there 1st outing. The car performed excellently, but as a note fro next time I will be leaving it in Auto and not 4dw Lock as it over heats to easily.

- Woods Point (Easter '08) 1 xtrail and 4 Patrols on 35" Simex's, I thought I was in trouble but its amazing what the exy can do when you give it all its got... haha.

- Tarango falls (Easter '07) exhaust repairs after I put a hole in the muffler by hitting a big rock.

A month ago I was considering trading it in for a patrol but after seeing what it has done over easter weekend I am back on the bandwagon as nothing can stop this little back beast!!!

Cant wait for the next adventure!

well today is the day we say good bye to the xtrail.

After 3 years, 55000k's, 2 head gaskets, timing chain, throttle body sensor, machined head, machined block, i can say i will be happy but also sad to send it in its way!

I'm not totally leaving the family though. On order is a brand new nissan navara ST-R emoticon

With touring in mind and new business as well this was the logical choice. I've ordered it with snorkel, soft tonneau cover, colour coded steel bullbar and set of bfg all terrains again!

Just wanted to thank everyone who helped me with answers to my questions. This site is FANTASTIC and a great tool to all owners!
