If your 6-stacker is a separate unit from your head unit, you will probably be able to plug it into the Aux input (if available) otherwise you will loose your stacker capability.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Thu, 05 Mar 2009 20:40:25 +0000 Re: Sat nav DVD unit connectionshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2024790,from=rss#post2024790https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2024790,from=rss#post2024790Sorry if this sounds silly but do you loose the 6 stacker cd that comes with the car? and if so do these sat navs play cds as well? not up with this stuff as yet. It was amazingly featured but the audio controls on the steering wheel would not work to control it so that was a bummer. Also the touch screen wouldsometimes stay black (this was a screen saver feature) on starup for 5 minutes or so before turning on - intermittent problem. The GPS with route 66 was awesome. I'd consider getting a DVD for my new Diesel TS but don't want to lose the steerinf wheel controls. The Witson one's look very similar to the one i got but interestingly they show a Nissan OEM one - http://www.witson.com/view_pro.php?id=1373 It is for the Dualis but the wheel controls look identical to the Diesel wheel, I wonder if it would work with the x-trail??nondisclosed_email@example.com (Aussiehoudini)Thu, 05 Mar 2009 18:52:16 +0000 Re: Sat nav DVD unit connectionshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022098,from=rss#post2022098https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022098,from=rss#post2022098The other option is VMS (around $2500) it is quite expensive, however you do get GPS including topographic maps bluetooth iPod and USB not to mention digital TV VMS Australia nondisclosed_email@example.com (rescue1)Fri, 16 Jan 2009 13:55:35 +0000 Re: Sat nav DVD unit connectionshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2020873,from=rss#post2020873https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2020873,from=rss#post2020873hi Nosfer What model did your friend get and also how much did he pay for it? I'm asking cus if it's stereo then i got a AUX input!!!! Next questions would be if so, how do get access to the dvd unit (rear) and what are the connection pin outs.
