Re: The Chrome Exy will soon be seen in QLD

Hi Chris,

Mate, I'd love to do a weekend out at Landcruiser park sometime. Unfortunately I will be away for the long weekend in Jan. Heading up to Airlee Beach camping and won't be back until the 27th.

Maybe we can organise a weekend in February, I'll start looking into it soon. emoticon

Hey Guys;

Jamie - Thanks for the pm, BBQ sounds like good fun.
Unfortunately I sold the Exy a few weeks ago. Only had 7000kms on the clock, broke my heart. Traded it in for a Patrol.... If you guys don't mind having a bus as part of the festivities then I'm keen to come along. Never, know.... if Jalal takes the chrome Exy off road I may come in handy of someone gets bogged ;-)

North Pine is about 5min from my place, but I'm good with anywhere you guys settle on.

Noticed a post earlier on LCMP. Went there for the whinch competition a few weeks ago. Great fun! Even saw an Ext while I was there which was neat.

I'll keep checking the thread to get the latest.

Dave

Good stuff Dave and we don't mind having the big brother with us at all. I don't think you'll be testing any recovery techniques though cause am not taking my chrome exy off-road. I got 900kms trip back to Sydney to worry about LOL emoticon

G'day Guys. The 30th is good for me so count me in for the meet up. I 'll keep checking for the location. Somewhere away from the main hot spots I'd suggest given the time of the year.

Merry X'mas to all.

Re: The Chrome Exy will soon be seen in QLD

emoticon O.K guys, I think the time has come to lock in a place and time.

I think the best place would be Northpines Dam, Sunday 30th December 11am start.

We can make a meetup point at the top carpark at Aussie Zoo at 10am, at least Jalal will know how to get there. From there we can drive up to the dam, I've got the navigator so will know how to get there.

Everyone bring their suntan lotion, hats, meat, drinks and snacks, I'll bring a ball, totem tennis, frisbee for the kids and (kids at hearts). We can look at packing up about 3 unless we want to keep the day going longer.

If no one has any objections, then this is the go!

Dave, if you get to make it on the day and you live so close, maybe you could get there about 10-10.30 and reserve a spot for us in preparation for our arrival?????

Sounds like a plan Jamie. Thanks for that.
