Re: Forum Users Fuel Consumption Monitor
Just added my exy to the vehicles and the only two tank fulls I have put in (only had it a couple of weeks).
Only city driving so far but the consumption is a bit higher than I got from the Nissan specs - no real surprise there.
10.2 so far .... unfortunately quite a bit more than the Mazda 3 (was 8.5 for city). Then again, i couldn't take the 3 to the places I plan to take this!
Will be interesting to see how it goes over time.
Gee, I love this site!

Re: Forum Users Fuel Consumption Monitor
I am using the fuel monitor every week and it is quite interesting to see the difference my driving style makes to the final result, not to mention the $$$$ value showing how I am being ripped-off at the pump every week LOL

Re: Forum Users Fuel Consumption Monitor
Hi Guys,
I noticed that not many members are using the fuel consumption monitor database and it would have been very interesting to see and compare the different xtrails, especially the T30 and T31 (petrol and diesel) versions and have them side by side in the database.
I'm using it every week and find it an excellent record keeping exercise which also gives me an idea how much money am spending on fuel each week/month/year.
If you need any help to get you started and registered in this database, let me know.

Re: Forum Users Fuel Consumption Monitor
The variety of fuel consumption figures here is fascinating. I check my consumption on every tank out of habit. After purchase, used , 150,000 km normal 91 octane, 11.4 litres/100km all around town driving, air con on every trip ( warm summer)
fitted a K&N filter, and now same trips, all around town stuff, I average 10.4 litres/100km. I use cruise control a lot, ( anti-fine device) . Cant wait to get out on the open road and see what figures I get.
I will start filling up with minimum 95 octane and see what I get from that.
