Re: South Australian Meetup

If that is the case then I would like to record it every day as a meeting. emoticon LOL.
Then every month we go to the HR4WD club meeting it would be Cuffs, Waky53, Harryzell,
Mrs Fishy05 and me [Fishy05]. We also have some others with Xtrails that also attend.
On that note we have a meetup every month except December emoticon LOL

Jalal,

If Cuffs, Waky53, Harryzell and the Fishy's went on a HR4WD club OUTING then could they claim it as a meet or would it have to be organised through the forum only ?

Re: South Australian Meetup

Outing yes, club meeting..nope!

Since all of them are members of our forum, they can organize an outing and it will be counted as SA event provided a trip report is put together after the trip on our forum.

Re: South Australian Meetup

Howdy Fishy, thanks for the info (pm)

I live down south (near Reynella) but travel out north regularly, esp to Tanunda.
I'm keen to hook up for an x-trail get together / convoy anywhere really. I have taken my T30 up sellicks hill to the "ramps" and beyond, its fairly basic easy going but gives people experience driving up and down steep hills.

Sellicks Hill "Ramps"

Could then head down to Goolwa for some beach driving and a BBQ or something..

Goolwa Beach ramp

Theres plenty of other good drives - deep creek - or plenty im sure you have been on out north that would be good fun to try emoticon

Keep me posted, im keen as mustard emoticon

Re: South Australian Meetup

Hi Guys,

I would be interested in trips around SA. I live in Adelaide north eastern suburbs (Athelstone).

We are fairly new owners of our Exy (and complete 4WD novices).

I will keep an eye out on this thread for any action.

Look forward to catching up sometime.

Re: South Australian Meetup

Is anybody interested in a Adelaide meetup???? I am floating the idea for MONDAY 26 JANUARY 2009.

VENUE: NW corner of Park St & May St Sefton Park 5083 (behind Target)
For those who don't know the area, you can find it in:
UBD STREET DIRECTORY P 106 G4 or
GREGORYS STREET DIRECTORY P 164 B4 or
GPS coordinate from GOOGLE EARTH: S34.52.523 E138.36.226

TIME: 3.00 - 4.00pm

I don't think there is anything else big happening at that time (I hope!)
Any takers?

Re: South Australian Meetup

Apart from Australia day! Perhaps we could chuck camping bbqs in the back and convoy to a a beach or park somewhere for some bangas?

Or just start off with a meet n greet ?

I'm keen, count me in!

Dronus

"Or just start off with a meet n greet ?"

That is what I was thinking. On Australia Day the shopping centre car parks are empty.
When I did a Google Earth search the ariel photo was dated 10 feb 2008 [sunday].
