Hi all
I thought about purchasing a nudge bar for the new T31 exy today, I rang up Nissan and they quoted me $849.00, which quickly changed my mind.
Then I thought I'd try my luck on Ebay.
To my surprise there was one there in good condition and at the moment it was fetching around $56.00 with 4 days to go. It doesn't come with any fixing brackets or bolts.
I thought it would go for around $300 odd, + $50.00 delivery and would have been good.
I thought I'd ring Nissan back and find out how much the finxing kit is.
They gave me a price which includes Fixing brackets, Chassis brackets, bolts, and fitting instructions.
$563.00 WHAT THE *@#%!!!!!!!!!!!!
At this rate it would of ended up costing me $913.00
The new one doesn't look so bad now.
Moral of the story is.......Do your homework.
Tony

Hi tony,
I fitted a ecb nudge bar which looks awesome on our t31.
Fitted was a total price of around $750.
Which is not too bad.

Hi Scot and Wendy,
I'm glad you like the ECB nudge bar - I'm think of getting their 63MM SERIES 2 NUDGE BAR (Mirror Polished Alloy) fitted. Got a local quote here for $731 plus fitting $100.
I like the ECB bar as it's the only one I've seen (looked at Nissan and ARB) that has a rail at the bottom of the bar - I think that gives a lot more protection down low.
I also think it gives the option of fitting a screen (or shadecloth) protection for the radiator grills on longer trips.
Cheers
David
