Can someone tell me if replacing the front bumper with a bull bar introduces any new front recovery options.

I believe you meant replacing "the front bumper"...

Based on the photos provided by Stephen in this thread, the bullbar doesn't introduce any additional recovery points, rather it has an opening for the existing factory front recovery point to be used as normal.

I don't think the bullbar is strong enough to have any new additional recovery points welded onto it.

Those are not the only bull bars available

Re:

Is that a question or a statement?

Of course not, but the photo you have previously posted showed the Barjo bull bar which is what we're discussing here. If you have other examples to discuss which is not covered in this topic, please fee free to add them for everyone's benefit.

Re:

What if I put a bull/nudge bar with driving lights on my Autech?
Hyper roof rails will make my Autech look awesome but a nudge/bull bar?

Re:

Hi Yoshio,

It's matter of personal taste of course, but I reckon the front of the Autech is already nice as it is, especially around the front grills and those awesome looking fog light, so why cover it with a nudge bar and/or bull bar?

The second thing is that I doubt you guys in Indonesia have off-road tracks or jumping kangaroos to be protected against, so what's the point? emoticon

P.S. Am actually thinking of removing my nudge bar since I don't take my xtrail off-road anymore. There is no point in carrying the extra weight and I have the roof lights to compensate for the spot lights anyway.

Yoshio, please use existing topics where possible. Most of the accessories topics for the T31 have already been covered off. Use the site search to find them.
