Re: Side Steps for the new X-Trail T31

I love the side step idea, it helps in protecting the bottom edge of the Xys too against rubs and stuff out in the scrub.

Im in the process of getting my brother in law to make me some, he has a fab shop in Brisbane making trailers, toolboxes, custom stuff etc etc.

I will let yas know how I go and prices if anyone is interested.

Re: Side Steps for the new X-Trail T31

Due to the high cost price I haven't looked at importing them yet and was hoping the price would come down a little as more T31s hit the world market. They're on the list to import after the bash plates arrive.

Hey Jalal
I was wondering if you have any further updates re the side steps &/or side bars? After tackling Straddie in a mates Pathy (with side steps), I want them for my Exy emoticon .
Also, do you think the price will drop by the time summer is here?
Cheers mate.

Hi Steve,

Will start to enquire about them now and see what happens. Hopefully I can get them imported in summer. Not sure about a price drop though.

Re: Side Steps for the new X-Trail T31

Hi Guys,

Good news!

I am in the process of importing 10 sets of the stainless steel T31 side steps as shown below:

Image

These are made of the highest quality mirror polished stainless steel and the tube size is 76mm. They also have a stepping area for you to reach the roof.

Approx. price will be in the range of $900 to $950 (to be confirmed)

Availability will be in 2 months as they will be coming by sea from overseas.

Due to the very limited quantity, it is advisable that you reserve a set nice and early to avoid disappointment as I am expecting that these will go out the door within the first week or two when they become available.

They look great!

I'll need to run it by the Minister of Finance (oh she who must be obeyed (her words) emoticon ), but I think we'll be reserving a set very soon.

Hey Jalal

I've noticed that Nissan are now selling side steps (not the same as you are importing) for the T31's (website listing under accessories) and I was wondering if you happen to know what price they are asking (fitted and supply only)? I understand that prices may vary depending on the dealership (I found that out when enquiring about towbars).
