Re: Sat Nav
Yeah I can imagine.
We're having problems with our board information showing in the Google searches at the moment because our board is hosted on a server that has a glitch and stopped indexing the information contained in our board like it used to.
It would have come-up in the Google search for sure and would have pointed you to the above thread.
Good luck with it and let us know how you go.

Re: Sat Nav
Jason,
Just wait for Dave to respond to you in the other thread, as he found those pins before. I have no idea where they're apart from knowing they're marked on the ECU harness (see photo below)

Re: Sat Nav
Hi all, GPS systems fitted in our exy's, is it neccesary to have a external "mouse" aerial, and if so, where is the best place to fit it. I am getting a Navman S80 in a couple of weeks. All information pertaining to GPS welcome as I am a newbie on sat nav

Re: Sat Nav
I don't have satnav installed but I do have a system that uses GPS and has a "mouse" antenna with it. Ideally you want to mount it on top of the car on a metal surface, so front or rear of the roof would be the best spots.
Saying that, I was too lazy to run the wiring and did not really want the antenna on the outside, so mine is mounted on the centre of the dash on a metal plate (that came with it). In this position it works really well and easily picks up 3 sats.
