The exy in super action!
After seeing what the new exy is capable of, am pretty impressed indeed. I think it has pushed the limit of what the exy can do off-road for sure!

Unfortunately Brett I think it will mean major surgery on the Exy and some expensive imported spares.
You will need to change the existing ABS actuator unit and control unit to an ESP/TCS/ABS actuator unit and control unit.
Then you will have to add a Steering Angle Sensor to the CAN communication system and change the G-Sensor to a Yaw Rate/ Side G-Sensor.
There is also the question of whether the existing Type 2-3 CAN system in our Xtrails is compatible with the Type 5-6 CAN system for the Xtrails with the ESP/TCS/ABS controller, so maybe the communication bus will need to be upgraded.
As Jalal says, might be best to import an Xtrail from Canada, or wait till the new model Xtrail goes on-sale here.

The actuator for the brake solenoids is a different internal module as well according to the service manual of the current model.
