Oberon/Abercrombie NP day trip. Guys,
Myself and Rich,(basshead) are meeting in Oberon this Sunday 10th for a nice relaxing drive through the nearby Abercrombie River NP. Everyone is welcome, however with two pregnant wives joining us, there may be a little baby talk along the way.

Re: Oberon/Abercrombie NP day trip. Matt,
Come on mate, I am sure you can come up with an excuse. I could always arrange for some mates to drop around and drag you away...

Re: Oberon/Abercrombie NP day trip. Sneaky, Brett!
I didn't see this new thread until just now...
I think I have Matt's contact details in case of change of plans.
Should we just put the details up here? I don't think there's any harm done.
The Coffee shop is called Snowgum

Re: Oberon/Abercrombie NP day trip. I have dug out my "4WD Treks Close to Sydney" book and it has Abercrombie NP in it, and with it comes GPS co-ordinates so we've got no excuses for getting lost Plus a June 2005 Overlander 4WD magazine review of the NP as well.
Matt have you got a CB? If not I'll bring my spare hand-held one.
I've got my video and still camera batteries charged.
Meeting Point is Oberon main street, outside Snowgum (we might duck in for a coffee etc if it's open, but wont find out if it's open until we pop into town on Friday or Saturday). Then we'll head out to Black Springs then onto Abercrombie NP (where we can use the trek notes in the book if needed).
Scheduled meeting time is about 9:30am unless changed. I wont have access to check emails or any updates to this thread after about 4pm Thursday 7th June... I might give Brett a call on Saturday sometime to see that it's all still going ahead...
