Re: SERIOUS loss of power ??? Only one more sleep and the exy will be back in the garage. Now all I have to do is set aside a full week to make all the changes and additions that I have been planning over the previous 6 weeks. I just hope the series 2 rental is the same specs as mine.

Re: SERIOUS loss of power ???
The engine will be the QR25DE and it will be a new engine for sure, it just depends what other components are being included with it, hence the terms short and long block.
I have thought of something that I hope doesn't happen seeing as it's been mentioned that an entire new engine is being fitted - is it going to be the reduced-kW version due to emissions, or are the emissions components completely separate to the engine? If Brett still has the aftermarket (HiTech?) exhaust, and the emissions components are within the factory exhaust then he wouldn't have a problem...

Re: SERIOUS loss of power ??? Yes Rich, the reduced kW are due to a second Cat fitted for the reduced emmissions.
As Brett has an existing Cat-back exhaust, his new engine should come either without headers (using his existing ones) or new headers, either way only being one Cat for the exhaust system.
So his full 132kW for the stock engine should remain
