I kept this a secret for so long as I remember how much crap you received from everyone on the forum, including me. But this was the price I had to pay to compromise with Silvia when I got the 18" rims & tyres. Not bad considering how many mods I have, And as for you dear Brett, I'm sorry mate but I do think it's in the best interest of other members of the forum to warn them if they decide to meet you. People, make sure your home insurance is up to date, just in case you need to use it!!! Need I say anymore: Mate I think your jinxed!! After the chair breaking incident, Brett was designated to Steel chairs for the rest of his stay, nondisclosed_email@example.com (NPC73)Sat, 28 Jul 2007 12:39:45 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2003063,from=rss#post2003063https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2003063,from=rss#post2003063At least he picked a different colour LOL nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Fri, 27 Jul 2007 18:40:51 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2003058,from=rss#post2003058https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2003058,from=rss#post2003058 Sorry mate, had to do it.  I think it looks 'cute'. nondisclosed_email@example.com (BRETT72)Fri, 27 Jul 2007 16:04:17 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2002908,from=rss#post2002908https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2002908,from=rss#post2002908Last time someone added flora to their exy the wheels fell off... or screws came out!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Naff)Sun, 22 Jul 2007 11:04:28 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2002892,from=rss#post2002892https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2002892,from=rss#post2002892With all the advertising on the Xtrail, I thought it was his work car and Silvia only used it on weekends.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Sat, 21 Jul 2007 09:02:59 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2002884,from=rss#post2002884https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2002884,from=rss#post2002884SPOTTED FRI 20/07/2007 1 floral looking X Trail + a few other stickers. We will have to try to meet up when you get up here, maybe on the tablelands leg of your trip. I can get some ferry passes for the Daintree ferry crossing to save you a bit of cash. I will keep a look out for updated details.nondisclosed_email@example.com (camoo)Fri, 22 Jun 2007 12:05:32 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p1999040,from=rss#post1999040https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p1999040,from=rss#post1999040Noel,  I've done the track twice previously, but I must admit it was done is my much more modified Pajero. I have spoken to a local touring company and as long as the creeks have dropped, he reckons the exy will kill it. New brakes are on order for the steep descents and heavier load I'll be carrying though.nondisclosed_email@example.com (BRETT72)Sat, 24 Mar 2007 12:39:12 +0000 Re: Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p1999017,from=rss#post1999017https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p1999017,from=rss#post1999017yeah Brett am still keen for a day trip with you the the Atherton tablelands. I'll be giving the Bloomfield track a miss though, my exy is not really setup anymore for that sort of driving . You should still go up with a second vehicle on that trip though. I don't know if there are any tourist operators or 4x4 cruises that use the track, perhaps that might be worth looking into and doing the track together??nondisclosed_email@example.com (NPC73)Fri, 23 Mar 2007 15:58:04 +0000 Nth Qld trip - meeting.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p1999007,from=rss#post1999007https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p1999007,from=rss#post1999007  After much deliberation between SA, NT and FNQ, we have decided to head as far north as Cooktown (and possibly further depending on the road and creek conditions) for our annual roadtrip. We will be travelling in the July school holidays and also the following 2 weeks.   On the agenda is a day trip through the 'Waterfall Way': Cairns - Mareeba - Atherton - Cairns. (Noel, you still keen.)   Should be a good chance to meet some more members.   So all FNQ members, open invite !!!   Exact details will be posted closer, but I will be in the area from the 14-21 July.   I will also be heading to Cooktown via the coastal Bloomfield Track, but again, anyone is welcome to tag along. nondisclosed_email@example.com (BRETT72)Fri, 23 Mar 2007 09:27:55 +0000
