Looking at the picture of the back end. It as def. got a Renault influence.  I think it looks very nice though.

That is true. Renault had a hand in the design of the new exy for sure being a partner and the new engines are the ones used by Renault as well.

I agree with you Lance and since they have extended the height of the tailgate, they should have thought about splitting it at the same time. Would have been awesome.
The other thing that caught my attention is the reverse light! I sure do hope that white one in the bumper is not the only reverse light it's gonna have  I mean the fog light is there and that's cool, but cancelling the reverse lights from the tail light cluster and moving it into the bumper is a BAD idea!

My son as a Jeep KJ and that as a split rear door where the rear screan lifts up and the door opens sideways and it is brilliant. You can have the top open and the door shut. It`s very handy for getting things in and out in tite parking spots.Plus when dogs are in the back in their cage and you want to nip into a shop you can leave it open for them.
As regards the reversing light. I can`t believe why they havn`t put reversing lights on the back of each of the roof rails. the same thats on the front. Maybe a DIY project for somebody to sort out.
