Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
Hi folks,
Ive had these tyres for approx 6 months now;
Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain 215/75/R15 Light Truck (70/30)bias
They cost me $200 per corner
I chose these tyres for 2 reasons;
1 - the lack of choice in 15" AT rubber, 2 - a good comparison review from Overlander magazine.
Offroad- they have performed well,and given me a little more ground clearance as they are a little taller than the factory rubber.
Onroad- they are a bit noisier (im used to it now), they perform just as well (if not better) as my previous Cooper highway tyres. Cornering & speed humps handeling is a little better due to a stiffer sidewall, & I reckon the speedo is now bang on.
So far so good

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
Circa 2002 - Brand new Exy from showroom
Put 2 kms on Odometer driving to Beaurepaires on stock Toyo's 215/65R16 98H
Traded for complete set of Dunlop AT2's : Cost $100
Circa 2005 - Time to change tyres due to lack of Off Road opportunities
Purchased 4 x Dunlop RV501s : Cost $800 (Beaurepaires again, it helps to know the floor manager by fixing his branch's computer equipment
Awesome tyres for unlimited speed limits in the Northern Territory enabled the Exy to purr along at 160km/h plenty of grip in the wet where our highways and roads turn to rivers.
Circa 2009 - Looking for new tyres ... hmmm what to go

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
1. BFGoodrich 225/70/16
2. All Terrain (60%-road, 40%-dirt)
3. $295 each.
4. Driven on them for around 1000km now. Reasonable grip on road but not a sportscar. Grip in gravel, mud and rocky sections are great. Wasn't sure if they would be good on loose gravel but they work well. Off road due to the incresed grip allow you to stop much quicker. Increase in road noise from tyres but now it sounds like a real 4WD and not just a little toy car. Very satisfied.

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
1. Dunlop Grandtrek AT3 215/70/16
2. All Terrain 50/50
3. $239 each fitted balanced
4. Worn them already 1000kms great tread off road, on road a little slippy. Subtle raise over standard 215/65/16 so better in ruts. Slightly better fuel economy.

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
A. BFGoodrich 225/70R16
B. All Terrain
C. $ 189 each fitted balanced (in Rusia)
D. Very satisfied! Tyres perfectly well behave on soil, stony, sandy and snow-covered roads of any level of complexity and in an easy mud. I use them and in the winter (at us happens to -28) and in the summer. Hoot more strongly regular Danlop, but after a noise isolation of back arches and a luggage carrier, does not disturb. Run on this tyres 39 000 km. The fuel expense has increased by 1,5-2 litres on 100 km of a way. Dynamics has decreased.
