Re: Major Changes are Coming Soon
Stage 2 - Completed
Hi Guys,
We have completed Stage 2 of this upgrade and have now moved all topics to their corresponding forum sections as best as we could.
The site indexing is now taking place again to pick-up all of the recent changes.
All links to the DIY Guides have been updated.
All links to the newbies guides have been updated.
All links on the Main Site have also been updated.
How Can YOU help us?
If you come across a dead link or a topic that you think does not belong to a particular forum section, please email us with the details to the Admin Mailbox at mailto: [email protected]
Please note that we have converted what used to be known as Main Chat forum section to General Discussion, this section will now include all of the topics that don't fit into any of the existing forums and are of a general nature in terms of content.
a HUGE thanks for your patience while we have implemented this upgrade and I hope you enjoy the new forum structure and find it user friendly.

Re: Major Changes are Coming Soon
Thanks Jamie.
Only minor tweaking will take place (nothing major) as we have finished the bulk of it and I just got confirmation that the site has been fully indexed, so the search engine should pick-up all of your searches and point to the new locations.
Please use the forum as per normal.

Re: Major Changes (Forum Structure Changed)
Jalal & Noel,
Over the last couple of days I've found the new layout to be excellent.
Although splitting the main page into so many more sections has made it bigger, I find it is much easier to find what I want.
Most of the time I don't even have to use the search to see which thread it is in as the new sections group things so well into logical topics.
Feel proud of your efforts as it is making our way around much easier.

Thanks for your kind feedback Kev and that is EXACTLY the reason why we have implemented the new forum structure.
In addition to the above, question posts can now be posted in every forum section according to the nature of the question if there is a need for that or if the existing information is not enough. This creates less tension between US (admin team) and YOU (members of the forum) where we have to keep moving, editing and deleting your posts for being in the wrong place of the forum, so the end result is that everyone is happy, which is exactly what we want
There will be instances where mistakes or duplicate posts will happen and we will handle those, but I believe we will see a HUGE reduction with such cases given the new forum breakdown.

Re: Major Changes (Forum Structure Changed)
Thanks Brett,
Yes, we have noticed the dates are our of order as well and when I mentioned this to Runboard Support I was told I discovered a bug LOL
They're investigating this issue and will report when the bug is fixed.
