Next stop - the LOTTERY!
does the on-line x-trail shop want my money? we'll your getting it!
scratched a $5 scratchy to the tune of $500 big ones last week. has never happened to me before..in fact haven't even heard of it happening before..except for the 'scratch me happy' tv commercials.
anyway i have decided to use the money to buy my Xy a present (haha doesn't that make me sound like a generous person).
but with so much on my wish list, including:
spoiler, fog lights, led door sills, rear bumper scuff plate, bonnet protector, and maybe some racks.. it's hard to prioritise.
SO, if you practically found $500 on the street, how would you use it to treat your sexy-Xy???
any suggestions?

Re: Next stop - the LOTTERY!
Well done Tim, that's a nice bonus, however $500 is not going to take you far when looking at modifying your exy.
If I were starting with my lists of mods I would be considering these first:
1. K&N Air Filter
2. Type AX Head-Light Eyelids
3. X-Trail Decal
4. Front Strut Bar
5. Weather Shields
6. In-Cabin Microfilter
Just note that the K&N Air Filter is one of the best mods you can do for a modest cost however don't use it in heavy dust/dirt conditions.
Happy choosing.....

Re: Next stop - the LOTTERY!
Tim,
The 500 freebies will take you a long way with the mods, provided you don't choose the rear spoiler, which will chew-up almost all of your winnings. Just drop us a line and we'll take it from there when you're ready.

Re: Next stop - the LOTTERY!
how much dust and dirt is too much for the K&N Air Filter?
For a collective couple of weeks a year i head back down to see the family in Tumut. The majority of the roads are only suited to 4WD and very dusty. The car always gets FILTHY. the rest of the year i'm cruising around Sydney and the Snowy regions which would be no probs i'm sure?

Off-road type of dust or a trip to Stockton beach for example. But you won't have a problem as you gonna keep the factory paper filter for situations like that.

Re: Next stop - the LOTTERY!
Brett,
This comes as no surprise to me after seeing the state of your 2 month old cabin filter, not even the toughest air filter will withstand the type of tracks you're taking your exy through and most certainly not the factory one or the K&N.
I believe we've had this discussion before in THIS thread.
