Re: My exy - purpose built for the bush - ongoing project.
Brett, Good Stuff
You just had to be different why cant you just conform. I realy like your Exy it looks blokey. I think there is only one person in the forum that could surpass your accessories list (BLING). I see now why you wanted to raise your Exy as it probable sits as high as low as mine with those mods.
Great Work

Re: My exy - purpose built for the bush - ongoing project.
Just as well we are all different otherwise this forum would be quite boring
I don't want to sound like a hypocrite but it's good to see your doing stuff to your X-Trail toward what it's designed for, i.e. four wheel driving.
A trip to the Gulf sounds better that way you'll have to pass on through via me to get there,
I see your running on a flat panel K&N and I also recall you showing us one of the dirtiest in cabin filters that I've ever seen just the other day also. Do you make a habit of changing your air filter back to the standard paper type for your dirt road trips? I'd be a bit concerned for your engine otherwise as the K&N is not suited for high dust driving.

Re: My exy - purpose built for the bush - ongoing project.
Brett,
Well done with mods. Keep it up mate
I am slowly starting to get a complete picture of your recent problems with the exy mate.
A brown cabin filter full of dust; Using your K&N panel filter for off-roading; plenty of fun in the dust with your exy;
No wonder you're getting the engine check light. It seems your engine bay has turned into an Arabian Desert and some of this fine sand may have found its way to your MAF sensor and possibly the throttle body.
I would highly recommend and full engine bay wash and then cleaning the TB won't be a bad idea as well before the long trip.

Just like an EXY should look Brett.
Nice Mate.
Are the 130W fog bulb inserts the yellow coloured ones discussed previously ?
