Re: Boo Hoo - My Exys Gone To Heaven Today Sorry about your loss, at least partner is safe, however, why in the world would you choose a maxima over the exy?

Re: Boo Hoo - My Exys Gone To Heaven Today Hello Ian ... I get a new car thru work (novated lease) every 3 years and had just completed the lease on the Xtrail only 5 months ago. I like the Exy so much that I paid the residual and was planning on keeping it. I have always like the VQ 3.5 V6 in the Max and 350Z and ended us getting a Ti Maxima with all the extra bits and pieces on road for about $10K less than RRP. I travel around 200Kms to and from work each day so when you get to middle age (44 ... close enough), you enjoy your creature comforts all the more I actually get better fuel economy out of the Max (8.8L/100Kms) than I use to get in the Xtrail and it's the first new car that I have not had to report one thing on warranty. It is a dream to drive, expecially on the open road and when you give the VQ a nudge, it has a beaut growl. Quality, drive and comforts ... it leaves my old Fairmont in the horse and cart days.
Ps. Fortunately the K&N filter I had in the Exy fits the Max. and has already been installed.
