I wonder if he lost his licence plate in that "creek crossing" emoticon

Looks like he got stuck in some "quicksand" as I've read reports and seen photos of happening to other 4WD's - I think it was in one of the 4WD magazines, where the first in a convoy made it across but felt it bogging-down as the weight of the vehicle forced the water out of the sand below the surface, then the second one struggled as the water returned into the sand below, then the 3rd one got stuck well and truly...
