Went down to the melbourne car show 11-3-2005 with the exy after the upgrade to the ecu, running like a dream, never ran better.Had a good look at the opposition to the exy.Talked to some people looking at a exy,and said i owned one and was more than happy with it,they said they had a look at all the vechicles and the exy was what they were going to buy.The auto selector on the honda crv and ford tribute were just crap and reminded me of my old hd holden. The honda crv has a new five speed auto, which would be a huge plus. The nissan stand had the latest 2005 pathfinder on a rotating stand which you could not really look at.I said to the nissan people i would like to have a close look at the latest pathfinder, and could you stop it rotating around as i would most likely purchase one in the future, but no look and do not touch, what a bunch of ****heads,i must say it looks great along with the murano, could have spelt it wrongly. After looking at all of the soft off roaders i think i would like the glass to swing up on the rear door to have access internally.Even the tucson has this feature and it saves opening the rear door all the time. The exy seems to have more usefull space inside than all of the opposition and better rear leg room, but the rear tailgate needs a rethink and upgrade.
