Re: X-Trail Xmas

Hi Jalal.
How many vehicles have we got going on sunday ?
I count 8, plus 1 may be.
It should be an impressive site with 8 or 9 X-Trails driving through the National park.
A photo on the day forwarded to Nissan or a dealer or two may assist with discounts etc.

I think the following are going;
Jalal, Geoff, Rich, Peter,
Dennis, JD, DVIV, Shane, Russ(maybe)

Should be a good day. Will bring the Bocce set & some photos of a couple of our trips.

See you Sunday

Dennis

Not intending to put a damper on the day, but Clare tells me there's rain forecast for Sunday...

Is it still going ahead if it's raining or looks like rain?

Re: X-Trail Xmas

Hi Rich,

I'm also following the weather forecast and this is what I found just now:

Sunday
16 - 23°C Cloudy, A few showers.

I'm still keen to go and the picnic area has undercover seating arrangements (as shown in the pics) so I don't think a "few" showers will cause us a big trouble.

Not to mention that its a 9 out 10 ratio that the forecast is wrong (yet again) emoticon

Damn, I just washed my car today emoticon

It's up to you guys.

I'm not worried if it rains.

I just have to remember to throw the sub box back in.

Re: X-Trail Xmas

I think we should go ahead even if its raining tomorrow morning. Rain doesnt matter too much when you are driving anyway, and we'll probably have the picnic ground to ourselves if it is raining (so more shelter). With only showers forecast, there is bound to be a break in the weather some time around lunchtime.

Re: X-Trail Xmas

Sub box is in... Clare's already had a whinge and said she's enjoyed shopping over the last few days and having room to put all the groceries...

Will be bringing some fold-up chairs and a blanket, as well as 12v fridge, and anything else I can think of that may come in handy. Will also bring the maps from our recent trips. Might even throw in the gas stove and saucepan in case the on-site BBQ's get abit busy emoticon
