Re: X-Trail Xmas

Clare & I are camping/4WD-ing way down the coast (somewhere between Ulladulla & Bateman's Bay?) and wont be back until the 4th Jan, and beforehand we'll be too busy with family stuff and organising & packing the trailer with all the camping gear (lots of old portable gas stoves etc to try out beforehand).

I don't think we've got anything planned for the 9th so I'll pencil it in the calendar now.

Hi Rich,

Excellent of you and Clare to join us. It should be fun.

That's 6 of us already!

Let's see if we can beat the 6 xtrails record (well not quite, 5 xtrails and a patrol at the moment) emoticon

Come on guys, shake those diaries and calendars of yours emoticon

Good Idea Jalal,

9th sounds good. Too busy up until then.

Can I request we go somewhere close to Sydney (like Royal National Park), so I wont have to put up with too much "Are we there yet?" from the young'n's.

Excellent Geoff,

That's 7 of us so far! Is that a record or what?

And yes, I think The Royal National Park will be good and close for everyone.

I trust Pete will give us good directions on where to meet, drive and BBQ..etc.

Hey JD, did you choose the wrong smily face at the start of your post? emoticon looks like you're not friends with Xmas emoticon Ha Ha Ha.

It's excellent if you and your wife can make it to this meet-up.

OK guys, the official count and presuming everyone would turn-up and they said they would, we have 8 xtrailers meeting-up.

I will touch base with you all on the week commencing the 3rd of Jan, so we can agree on the meet-up point and other details.

Great turn-up guys and it should be fun emoticon

Enjoy your Xmas and new year.

Re: X-Trail Xmas

Hi Shane !
It is Dennis & Val from Newcastle here.
We would be happy to go to Stockton Beach with you & any other X-Trailers.We have been a few times & also done a training course there a few months ago.We have a reasonable knowledge of the area(see trip notes October 2004)when we went with Darryl, Robyn & friends from Qld.
Let us know when you will be in this area & for how long ? We will arrange a trip with you etc.
We bought a 2003 Demo (900kms) ST Manual in April with most extras etc. No problems with anything to date, up to 15,000 kms.Great to drive & reasonable economy.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Dennis & Val

Hi Shane,

Merry Xmas to you too.

Yeah, Stanwell Tops is South, it's on the way to Waterfall and Heathcote.

Let me know what dates you have in mind to head to Stockton and I will check with my wife to see if we can make it as well. I'm on holidays until the 17th of January.
