I should be able to make this one.

Same place is ok by me. No offroading, but a nice drive.

I've posted an invite message to the yahoogroup.

Some things I don't think have been mentioned yet:

BYO everything - there are coin-op BBQ's on site.

Bring your walkie talkies/CB radios too!

Thanks for that Rich.

We will be on CH24 for those who have a radio. I don't think we gonna need it, but just in case.

Sadly I won't be able to make this meet as I attend college almost every Saturday and the 19th is when our current project is due to be handed in. I am studying 3D animation in the city, the course finishes in Feb so after that I will have my weekends back again! emoticon

Have a great time guys!

Sorry to hear that you can't make it Adam, it would have been great to have you with us.

Never mind, we will be organising meet-ups and drives in the future and you can be part of it then.

No problems Bluey.

The invite is open to all and it has also been posted by Rich on the Yahoo forum, so it's pretty informal gathering and a good chance to meet-up and have a good time/chat.

Attendees so far are:

Noel (NPC73) all the way from Cairns emoticon
Rich (basshead)
Geoff (geoffm)
Nathan (naff)
Matt & Rach (YWait)
Me (jalalski)

Sorry, folks - I won't be able to make it. We are taking our English niece up to Port Stephens for the weekend to do a dolphin cruise.

*Going a head*Forum X-mas Gathering-Saturday 19/11/05

Hi Guys,

This is just a confirmation post that the X-mas Picnic is going full steam a head on Saturday the 19th and the invite is open to all.

Meeting Point: Waterfall Train Station car park (off the Princes Highway).
Place: Stanwell Park Picnic Grounds
Meet-up Time: between 10:00am to 10:20am
Date: 19/11/05

For those of you running late, follow the directions posted HERE

Confirmed attendees:

Noel (NPC73)
Geoff (geoffm)
Nathan (naff)
Matt & Rach (YWait)
Jalal (jalalski)

What to bring?

BYO Food, drinks, chairs and the rest of picnic essentials.

There are public toilets there and coin operated BBQs.

Should it rain (hopefully it will not) there is undercover area next to the BBQs where we can hide for a while.

For the kids, there is plenty of room to play in the park and there is a little play ground there as well.

There are also shops close-by should you need anything.

If you have a radio/CB bring it in too and we will be on CH24

See ya all there emoticon

(EDIT)
Rich (basshead) (Can no longer make it)
