As Head Admin, I delegate this task to you and you know what that means You can't organise a meet-up if you don't plan to attend, so before you create a new thread organising the "small day out" make sure you can make it. hehehehe Personally I'm not that sure that my wife and kids would enjoy going out in a freezing weather like this. We have learned the hard way when we camped in a -3 weather conditions last winter and I can still remember that clearly LOLnondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Fri, 21 Jul 2006 08:40:50 +0000 Re: Sydney X-trail BIG DAY OUT.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881140,from=rss#post881140https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881140,from=rss#post881140I don't see there any problem in organising a "Small Day Out" for the interim, possibly in another thread though, so as to not confuse the two nondisclosed_email@example.com (basshead)Fri, 21 Jul 2006 08:31:53 +0000 Re: Sydney X-trail BIG DAY OUT.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881139,from=rss#post881139https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881139,from=rss#post881139Okay, so we're a bit keen! nondisclosed_email@example.com (MickeyBelle)Fri, 21 Jul 2006 06:04:05 +0000 Re: Sydney X-trail BIG DAY OUT.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881138,from=rss#post881138https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881138,from=rss#post881138quote:MickeyBelle wrote: How about Saturday the 29th of July? Glenbrook is fine with us, or, if we the purpose is mainly to meet up, discuss mods and check out each others vehicles, then perhaps Penrith Lakes (the Olympics rowing venue) would be a good alternative. Lots of space, great atmosphere! How about Saturday the 29th of July? Given that we had many new members join the forum, it'll be great to meet some of them in person.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Mon, 17 Jul 2006 18:41:45 +0000 Sydney X-trail BIG DAY OUT.https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881132,from=rss#post881132https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p881132,from=rss#post881132Hi guys,  Just checking the interest in meeting for a day out of family fun and 4wding, when the weather warms up a little. Due to the Sydney members covering a wide range of locations, it is open to suggestions on the meeting place, but out west may fit the requirements nicely. If interested, please reply with a preferred meeting place, but I was thinking of Glenbrook and then the blokes can explore the many trails in the area whilst the ladies enjoy the sun. Another location could be on the banks of the Nepean River where beers, wine and the traditional game of cricket can be enjoyed by all.  Date is yet to be set, but when it warms up may help encourage the wives to join in.nondisclosed_email@example.com (BRETT72)Mon, 17 Jul 2006 18:28:36 +0000
