I would not think it would be repairable but you never know!

It has a big bend in the roof line at the top of the rear doors!

Poor exy!

Re:

The only way to repair it would be to cut off the whole rear end and weld a new one I reckon, just like they fixed Jamie's T30 when he was rear ended years ago.

Would be good to use a a spare or to upgrade a series 1 if the price was better and it has dropped from reserve of 17,000 to 10,000 so worth a watch!

Re:

for 10K I would buy it to keep as spares as well, but it's not worth buying for 10K to fix, as the damage would require approx 15-18K to fix (based on Jamie's insurance job).

Cut & Shut on mine was $13k so you could end up with a nice car for under $30k I suppose.

Very low km's too hehehehehe

The brand new one (ST) sells for that much, so that why I said it's not a bargain at that price at all and re-selling it will be a nightmare.

Re: Interesting X-Trail Pics (written off Series 4)

Hi Jalal,
If it didn't sell as a repairable write off and went to wrecking, the alloy wheels and the instrument panel would be snapped up in an instant, probably by someone in Queensland.

Regards
John

Re: Interesting X-Trail Pics

Hi Jalal,
I wonder how many people bidding realise that it is a 2WD version. Check the picture full size and you can see the blank where the th 4x4i switch should be and that it has the factory Sport Mode switch on the gear lever. This would rate under the Buyer Beware, if it's to good to be true, it usually is.

Re:

I emailed the seller and he responded saying he wasn't sure (yeah right!!), but the engine starts with MR20. I told him he better fix his listing as there will be a LOT of angry people when it comes time to pick-up the car and find out that it's the 2WD 2.0L xtrail and not 2.5L 4WD as advertised!

The maximum it can be sold for in such a condition and being a 2WD is $5000
