Re:

Emailed the dealership in Kal today and within a few hours the dealer principal emailed back. He didn't deny my claims and he will be compensating me for the repairs and accommodation costs. He also wants to meet up to discuss this. Good news at least. I did also state in my email that I was gonna get pickier with who services my car in the future considering the next service is the big 80000km. Got about 3500km to think about who will get the big service and also depends on what the principal says on Tuesday when I meet up with him.

They should put note in their service file; do not mess with this chick or else!

Re: Nissan Dealer Experience (The Good & Bad)

Recap for $809.90 (fixed price).

I don't see this price, Nissan has it as $784 for the diesel 120k service , so they ripped you off a little in price as well.

Re:

The price is in their capped price servicing brochure on their website and that's for the 80000km service which I understand from other posts is the major one where they replace some of the parts and since it's diesel, it's going to cost a lot more than petrol. I'm not looking forward to the next service which is the 80000km service but my car is salary packaged so at least I get my money back.

I'm not sure which Capped Service Price Brochure you're looking at, but the latest one shows both the 80K and 120K service for the diesel set at $809.79 (click on the MyNissan icon at the top bar of our forum page and it will take you to the latest version of the pricing brochure)

Re:

Just had an oil leak fixed at the local Nissan dealership.
I purchased the exy 2 months ago from Orix, and the transmission was leaking a drop or two a day after driving 80 klm to work and back.
I didnt pick up this leak when I purchased the car as it rained for two weeks and I wasnt getting wet to check it.
The Exy was a beautifully looked after car that drove like new, everything tight and nice and clean.

When I noticed the leak, I went to the Wyong Nissan service shop and they checked the oil level and topped it up for nix. They advised me to keep an eye on it and if it continued to leek, seriously consider getting it fixed. (no pressure)
I then approached Orix about warranty expecting to be fobbed off, but they advised me to see Nissan, get it fixed and get Nissan to contact them for an order number.

End result, Transmission fixed and it cost me nothing.
I also had the air bag light come on just before it went in and that was also fixed (dirty connection)

The whole experience was most comforting, no hassal, no problems, just fixed and Im back on the road.
Orix were so easy to work with, Nissan Wyong were professional and did a great job.

In the past I have had other vehicles that have been horrors to get fixed, if at all.
Some places I had to actually go through fair trading for obviously unroadworthy required repairs.

Ill be getting my vehicle serviced at Nissan from now on.
And any cars I will buy in the future will see me first at Orix for a look.

I love this car.

Re:

My exy just had her 180,000 km service.

A few issues have risen in the service so it will cost a small fortune to get it all fixed.

Rear engine mount is going, gearbox is again on the way out and will cost $6,000 to replace.

I am so tired of fighting Nissan over this issue and hopefully they will recognize the stuff up with these gear boxes one day.

Rear shocks to be replaced.

Zupps Beaudesert looked after my car once again and did a fantastic job on it.

Regards Scot.

Re:

Just got my exy back from its 110 service.
Nissan dealership in Wyong, the same one that did the gearbox oil leak.

Again, very impressed.
No issues, all done, car runs like a dream and they washed it.
Even the cost was what I expected, no suprises, and to top it off, friendly easy going staff.
Even advised me that the next service was a little more expensive, couldnt be worse than the $800.00 plus service done by lube mobile, and they even used the wrong filter.

Ill be using Nissan service from now on.
I will even stat using them for the wifes car when the warranty runs out, and its a holden.
We are locked into servicing at holden for the warranty period.
They are fair, but I just dont like them.

Re:

Tom,

I used the same dealer for our first service on the wife's car and haven't been back.

I was getting good customer service from Westpoint up until recently, but won't be back once both cars are out of warranty (one is now out and the other about to be).

Looks like I'll be back to my reliable Repco repairer that has serviced a number of my cars over the years.

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks Mark, Good to know I'm not the only one, I'm still on the look out for another service center, I'm nearly due for the 130k one.
