Re: Petrol Cap Holder

Got o0ne of these today from Lismore Nissan, just mentioned it was a fuel cap holder; spares guy knew exactly what I meant.
Was a dear little sucker,
$1.15 +GST. = $1.35
Had to remove the little black plastic hook thing, which was already there.
Works fantastic.

Re: Petrol Cap Holder

I noticed someone else mentioned the little black plastic hook thing which is the same spot - seem to be able to clip the cap onto the hook fine.
Mine also has a little cord attaching the cap to the car so even if you do drop it it will just hang there.

Ill try and get some picks tomorrow

Re: Petrol Cap Holder

The little black hook thingy works great, with the cord over the top of it.
Also the cord does hold the cap, if you drop it;
But the little orange cap holder, holds the cap more securely, while refuelling.

Re: Petrol Cap Holder

Ive never had any problems with clipping the cap to the little hook that was provided

ie

Little hook fits nicely into the cap edge. No banging no paint scratches

Re:

T31 Guys,

I was just filling-up my "thirsty T30" and was wondering if the T31 comes with the petrol cap holder like the one we added in the T30 in this thread? If it doesn't, is there an existing bracket for the holder to slot into, as I might remove the holder from my T30 and add it to the T31.

Re:

The cap has a bracket that it sits in on the inside of the flap.

It has become a great item for me as I hate to see these caps smack into paint work and if you would like me to post a photo for you Jalal I can also do that!

Re:

Its also got a nifty little plastic cord that goes around the cap and has been fastened to the fuel door lid.
