I just found something interesting to share with you guys
Anyone with a pod-filtered car would want to read THIS.
--- My Mods: CAI with 3A Filter, Pivot Volt Stabiliser, Audio System, OBX Power Crank Puley, Kansai Headers, Iridium Spark Plugs, UniChip Piggyback ECU, Red Calipers, Twin Tip Muffler, Alutec Strut Bar.

But I would still choose K&N over any pod filter

Saw this article quite a few months ago when I was searching for a dry-type pod filter to use as an SRI to temporarily replace the oil-type K&N CAI when off-roading.
Bought one locally in Sydney.

I don't want to boast but - the best exhaust the best extractors and now the best pod filter, this is my filter 3A Racing, love it LOL

Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys ever cleaned the sponge on AEM Bypass valve? Is it possible to wash it like K&N or should I just leave it the way it is? Thanks...

Hi Chiellim,
The foam around the AEM bypass valve doesn't require any cleaning. I left mine un-touched since fitting it, there is no air coming through it anyway, the filter is what you need to regulary clean.
