Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Hi all
As this thread is called "seat covers and floor mats...", I thought I'd ask about the genuine carpet mats (quoted $93 from my dealer.)
Those of you who have them, would you recommend them? I had a look at Super Cheap on the weekend, and the "nice" sets were around $50. I figured if I was spending that much, I might as well spend the rest and get the genuine ones that fit properly. And they would match the rear luggage carpet mat that I already have =D
Any other suggestions? I think someone has those rubber ones with a high lip that catch dirt/mud/sand etc?
Cheers
Brenton

Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Brenton,
I have the dealer's carpet matts, but after going on a couple of sand driving trips, I decided to cover the carpet matts with the high lip rubber ones, which I got from Supercheap or Auto 1 (can't remember now).
I found these to be much more practical, even for everyday use.
Take them out and wash them and they're as good as new again.
I got the front and rear set and I remember paying around $29 for the front ones and $15 for the rear ones (they were on special)
They fit in quite nicely as well.

Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Brenton,
I bought the dealer set - look nice and do the job. If I was getting into much mud, I might consider some lipped rubbers ones as throw overs. David M.

Re: seat covers and floor mats...
Brenton,
I've got the dealer ones as well, and went for these at the time because they have the "XTRAIL" word on them.
If I had the choice today I’d have to agree with Jalal and go for the rubber ones with the high lip. These are much more practical, and are on my wish list, and I expect to be buying a set in the near future.
Cheers
