Re:

Hi Scott,

If these seat covers like the one I have seen manufactured in Asia (Hong Kong or somewhere like that), they're indeed made of leatherette material (which is basically vinyl).

If you read my the quote of my post above, I have been dealing with a company called (Ultimate Auto Trim) about this and they also make covers exactly like the ones you have posted, so am wondering if it is the same?

Re: seat covers and floor mats...

Im really interested in these covers But I would like to see and feel them first lol...
Pity they are not leather emoticon

I have doubts about them because of the leatherette/vinyl material emoticon One would
hope "hope" that its really good quality as I have 2 computer chairs here where the
vinyl is falling apart but in saying that these chairs have the thinnest cheapest looking
vinyl I ever seen but they looked good in the shop.

Hi. Not from Ultimate Auto. The factory is in Asia. Yeah not sure bout the quality til I have them fitted etc. covers come with a one year warranty. I just hope the quality 'Vinyl' is the same they use in new cars like he says.

Im going to send him an email now and get a quote for full 'Moo cow Leather'..

Re: seat covers and floor mats...

stilll waiting oon the seat covers.. He would need the seats to cover in leather as it a full replacement to the frame. He swears by Good quality Vinyl tho as apparently is wears better. meh.... Approx 900 bucks to have it done, but shipping would kill the deal.(over 2grand landed)

Awaiting the covers. Will update soon..... He doesnt normally deal with personal requests but I know him personally so im lucky.

Dont worry guys... Ive talked the xtrail forum up... Hope his talk is as good as his workmanship..

Scotty.

Re: seat covers and floor mats...

Hi there

Just wanted to thank every-one involved in this thread... i managed to successfully remove my rear seats and the passenger seat. currently having custom seat covers made for my T30. i just received the passenger seat today, and it is looking good. It is a BIGG inconvenience driving around with out passenger seats for about a week now, but the wait has proved to be worth it!! the rest of the seats will be completed by thursday this week.

i anticipate my covers to have a 20year life-span!!!! lol

will post the pics once all has been completed, thanx to every-one

regards

Got my new custom moulded seat covers and took some pics

G'day all. Well I finally got some time to install my new custom moulded seat covers.
I can't believe how good they look to be honest.
They are not leather as that would cost a fortune in shipping and production.
The material is soft German sourced faux leather, well padded and very durable. The computer cut pattern is spot on for all the wheels and bits that they have to go around. The stitching is thick and is double sewn in some areas. The headrests are a piece of art as they slip over perfectly, velcroed and then zipped up to create the hole in the centre. The Nissan logo is branded in and is clear. They came all folded up so they have some creases but as you can see from my front seat they disappear after they are sat on. The centre console is done too..
Here's some pics.

Re: seat covers and floor mats...

Reply to locked post!

G'day. I've had these made from my friend in Asia and his materials come from Germany.
He produces them for a lot of car manufacturers as an optional extra in the overseas market as an alternative to expensive tailoring in leather.
He doesn't sell to private buyers normally but he can help me out and has done on a lot of my cars.
To get them landed in Australia is around 400 bucks including the expensive postage due to his location. Soo much cheaper tho than having them produced here and the quality is excellent.

I've got another set of Maroon red coming soon with matching gear boot, steering wheel cover and handbrake.

If there's interest I'll have to ask admin if I can take orders

Cheers, scott
Now with added luxury bling!!

I'd be very tempted for $400. would make cleaning the car after 4wding (especially with the dogs) so much easier. Is it both front seats, back seat and centre console?

Re: seat covers and floor mats...

Just watch this space as over the next few days as i would have to set up a few things before I can take orders. I would want to post them to myself first to check its exactly what was ordered then post to you (or pick up if in perth etc) just to save the hassle for everyone if incorrect in any way.

If anyone in the Rockingham Perth WA area is interested in having a look and would like to touch, pull, feel, sniff the seats I would happy to meet up for some review.
And yep, I would do the two front seats, rear seats, all headrests and centre console for 400 plus a couple of dollars extra to send interstate.

Many colours available. Two tones, coloured stitching option, logo,no logo.

Cheers, scott
