I believe Jalal had a Nissan Consult printout which had a AFR in the region of 12:1?? Obviously, there is a lot more power to be made from Jalal's beast.
Hi Matt,
Actually, the nissan consult print-out I have, had the value of 11:1, which tells me that my exy is running too rich.
The dealer advised me that this is the factory setting and can not be changed from their end at all.
I'm now exploring the option to get the A'PEXi S-FACII unit which would enable me to get AFR up to 12.5:1 to 13:1 which seems to be the optimal value for other xtrails with the same mods as mine.
Do you know of or can you recommend a good engine tuning place in Sydney once I get the above unit?

Re: Performance Enhancers
Hey Jalal,
If your willing to wait a few days(end of April) I will have a firm answer on a factory ECU code modifying program from HKS.
If, however, you wish to get the Apex'i item installed... Croydon Racing Developments have a good association with Apex'i equipment/installation and tuning.
V&E Rigoli would be another workshop I would recommend for tuning...
11.1:1 is WAY too rich, just goes to show how much Nissan like to avoid a warranty claim...

Re: Performance Enhancers
Hi Guys,
After almost 55,000kms running with the NGK Iridium spark plugs, today I decided to check them out (for the very first time) to see how they're going.
Since it is very close to their end of life at around 65,000kms I expected that they would need a slight clean, but to my complete surprise, all plugs looked brand new and in exactly the same condition when I first put them in.
Not a single sign of any carbon deposits was to be found on them.
So admired them for a moment and put them back in
