Re:
I received my insurance renewal from Shannons last week and they are still cheaper than all of the other insurance companies in my case. They did drop the value of the exy from $48,000 to $40K, but when I called them up and complained about the drop in agreed value being too large, then jacked it up to $43,000 which I am happy with. The excess remained the same $550 for me and max no claim bonus.
I have decided to stay with them this year.

Re:
I didn't have this condition on the exy, it is only applicable to my Merc as I have insured it as a recreational vehicle which is not being driven regularly.

Re: Exy Insurance Cost Comparison
I thought Shannons would only insure normal vehicles if you had a Classic or collector style of vehicle insured with them they must have changed .Ive been with them for many years with a collectors veh and have my town car with them and my bike but not the exy they were alot dearer than NRMA even with multi policy discount.

Re:
I think that's correct and maybe they agreed to insure the exy becasue I already have the Merc insured with them as a "classic" car.
