Re: T30 bash plate

I would suggest that you don't reuse the bolts you remove from the front to attach the bash plate to the front of the car. These are very weak and only a modest amount of tightening caused one of the bolts to to snap. Any automotive store will have the same size.

Cheers

Re: T30 bash plate

Hey crew, i'm looking at purchasing the bash plate supplied by Aust Xtrail for some beach driving around Fraser as I know i'll spend most of my time scraping the xtrail's belly. Any ideas on how this bash plate has fared hitting more solid objects (tree roots, rocks)? I saw that some of the bolt heads have been sheared off...

Re: T30 bash plate

Absolutely no dramas at all mate..the bash plate has taken some pretty decent whacks, and it easy to "uninstall" if required as well.

If you are worried about the bolt heads, change them for "domes" or hex heads and you should be right.

Match the thread at any decent bolt shop, and you will be set emoticon

Re: T30 bash plate

NEWS FLASH!!!!

One member in particular (you know who you are) kept harassing me about the T30 Bash Plates everyday, so I have done some digging around and guess what I found?

I found ONE seller overseas who still has stock of the original T30 bash plates and he said that he only has 10 of them left in stock and confirmed to me that the manufacturer have stopped production.

You don't need to guess what am gonna do next emoticon

Your favourite T30 Bash Plate will re-appear soon, but only 10 of them will be imported, so if you are quick enough and reserve one today, you'll be guaranteed one as soon as they arrive.

Add your name here or send an email to the Online Exy Shop reserving one.

Details of the original bash plate is HERE

Re: T30 bash plate

I'm attempting to import a skidplate. I don't expect it until August 15, I hope it comes before I go on my trip.

182 euros for the skid plate
92 euros shipping cost.

Matt.

Re: T30 bash plate

Me too, count me in! It looks like a better bash plate than the one from Russia.

Thanks Jalal

Re: T30 bash plate

No worries Liam.

OK, 10 T30 bash plates will be arriving within 2 weeks or less, 5 of them have already been reserved, so that leaves 5 that can still be pre-ordered.
