Jalal

I would like to thank you once again for helping me (and I guess others too) install the bash plate. Today's trip to O'Reilly's would have done some serious damage to my underbelly had it not been duly protected.

I've just had the car up on ramps and I am now sporting a dirty deep gouge in the plate (better on it than through something else, eh? emoticon ).

If only there was a "full body" bash plate available (I heard some awful "twangs" and scrapes going over tree roots and rocks emoticon ).

Cheers and thanks for your help.

Re: bash plate

Good stuff Steve.

I doubt a full body protection would be practical to have, there is northing there worth worrying about. Unless you're involved in a Dakar Rally run, you don't really need a full under-body protection LOL emoticon

Re: bash plate

Jalal

Got my bash plate fitted, just took a 8500k trip across Qld including the Birdsville Track. Track was very stony, knocked off the little guards in front of the rear wheels, (does anyone know what they are for?), scraped the bash plate a few times, but great knowing the front is protected. As you said the scrapes give you a warning when you are getting close to things.
Don't recommend the Track on highway tyres - we met many people with one or two spares ruined!

Justin,

Please send an email to sales@australianxtrail.com.au

The T30 bash plate is a genuine Nissan one.

Re: bash plate

As a matter of interest, I'm a CAD operator by trade (computer aided design)

If someone needs a bash plate custom made, send me the measurements and I can get it laser cut out of a range of materials.

One drawback, I can only get flat plate done.
However the engineering joint that cuts stuff for me can also bend and shape.

Just if you do send measurements, make sure they are acurate, as the laser will cut your errors to a tolerance of 0.001mm.

I'm happy to do the design for free to forum members.

Having said all that, does anyone know of a bash plate to suit the T30 petrol model?
