Re: Xtrail Snorkel

Sorry Pete the images must have been removed from the site in the last couple of months since my last post.
Maybe they were not accessed and the user is probably not registered anymore I guess.

Have you heard from Giz yet ?
Maybe they are busy so try sending them another email.
The version I used in my Series 1 will fit your Series 2 as the only changes were cosmetic to the bumper and dash.

Guys,

Only the pics of the 2006 model are dead, the rest of the links in Kev's post HERE contain information which can be forwarded to Giz for them to tell you if they still have in stock or not. I would also try putting that part number in Google and see if anyone else is selling them.

Re:

Hi Guys,

I have re-emailed GIZ - so hopefully I will get a reply soon.

jalaski - I have the the 2004 model of the T30 so not sure if the 2006 version would fit? I also don't know what the model number would be.

I currently have tried a number of suppliers but out of luck. I think it might have to come to me modding one up myself.

Cheers,

Pete

Re:

Yes Peter, it would fit, nothing has changed between the Series I and II in terms of the engine bay layout or the fender position which is what you need to fit the Giz snorkel.

Re: Xtrail Snorkel

Go to this page where the Giz snorkel is shown fitted.
It is the only one we know of which fits as there are no purposely made snorkels for Xtrails.
Other than this, you would have to make your own invention.

Re: Xtrail Snorkel

Hi all,

Recently purchased one of these multifid snorkel from www.snorkels.com.au and took it to my mechanic who has done his own mods to his triton. His response was it would be impossible to make that snorkel fit it is just too big to do anything with.
