Re: Engine Cover (Genuine & Aftermarket)

Guys,

Just found a guy on the V-Board who has two engine covers for sale. It appears that the yanks don't like the look of this cover, with most being removed to show off their bling bling.

The going price is US$50(total). Delivery is best via USPS and costs about US$22 for 7-10 day air delivery.

I have purchased three through this forum and the guys are on side. The forum also has a thread where bad sellers or buyers are listed.

Good find Brett.

Am going to send this guy an offer for the unpainted cover.

Cheers

Re: Engine Cover (Genuine & Aftermarket)

Ok guys I've just bought the unpainted engine cover from this guy for US$53 (including postage). Now waiting for it to arrive, emoticon

His 2nd engine cover, (the glossy black one), is probably still available.

Log on to the forum below and then check out the 'Classifieds' section. Due to most of these guys preferring the look of the empty engine bay so they can show off their cai, leads, wires, etc, most just remove the cover and throw it under the bed. Add a 'WTB' (wanted to buy) advert and you will be suprised at the response you get.

 The total package weighs 3lb.

Just make sure you request the side bracket, the 2 engine screws and 2 bracket bolts.

You posted this back in Feb 2006 Brett and I can't find the Classifieds section there anymore.
I think the forum layout may have changed since then.

Also, did you have to register to put up a WTB post ?

Re: Engine Cover (Genuine & Aftermarket)

Kev,

The classifieds section has been removed from the v-board, please refer to a link I provided on page 1 of this thread for the b15sentra forums where you can still find the engine cover selling, but you need to become a registered member there.
