Lucky for me I had all these bolts from the T30 engine cover, so the installation process was completed without any problems. Here is the engine cover bracket bolted onto the engine head: You can clearly see the difference between the X-TRAIL (right) and Sentra Spec-V (left) engine covers in this photo: The Exy one is a bit larger. It doesn't come with the Nissan badge, so I have removed this badge from the Sentra cover and used a dremel to drill 4 small holes for the Nissan badge to fit. If you do decide to get a Nissan badge for your engine cover, you must make sure it is heat resistant, otherwise it will melt. Here is the new exy engine cover all fitted in place. The part numbers I provided in my previous post are correct and you can order this engine cover from any Nissan dealer.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Thu, 27 Oct 2011 14:12:25 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2057107,from=rss#post2057107https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2057107,from=rss#post2057107Hi Guys, For those who asked me about the engine cover during our last trip to Coffs Harbour, please note that I gave these part numbers to the local Nissan dealer and they said they're now available in Australia and can be ordered within 2 working days. Prices as follows: 14041-JG30A (T31 X-Trail engine cover) $176.00 14049-JA00B (Lower Bracket) $10.80 I haven't priced the 10mm bolts, but they shouldn't be expensive anyway. So here you go, you can now order your very own Exy engine cover for your T31 petrol nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Thu, 13 Oct 2011 11:24:46 +0000 Re: Engine Cover (Genuine & Aftermarket)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2056317,from=rss#post2056317https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2056317,from=rss#post2056317Hi, I would like to get one of these engine covers for my 2011 series 4 ST. It sits just fine. This is a Sentra Spec-V engine cover and it doesn't quite align by 100% with the screw holes, I had to force the bolts a bit at both ends. I reckon if you guys decide to buy an engine cover, stick with the T31 xtrail one from China. It doesn't have the Nissan badge on it, but I reckon it will fit perfectly well. The part numbers as follows: 14041-ET81A (Sentra Spec-V in the US) 14041-JG30A (T31 X-Trail engine cover) 14049-JA00B (Lower Bracket) You will also need 3 x 10mm bolts.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Mon, 27 Jun 2011 18:26:31 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2053547,from=rss#post2053547https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2053547,from=rss#post2053547Scot, I think you should wait until I complete the fitting test and give you guys the all OK first.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Fri, 10 Jun 2011 23:12:45 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2053545,from=rss#post2053545https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2053545,from=rss#post2053545I wish I was down your way as it seems like we are constantly waiting for some one to put their hand up for a test fit!
