Hi Wayne,

If you can email the fitting instructions to us at the admin mailbox, I'll make sure they're uploaded on the forum server and shared in the DIY section of the forum for anyone needing them in the future.

Re: Nudge Bar Fittment

I suppose my only hope of getting the templates is from a mechanic that works at Nissan or from this site . I'm guessing Nissan just throw the templates away once they have done the job

Re:

It would help if we knew what model X Trail you have.
If it's a T30 the only chance to get templates is here on the forum as I doubt dealers would still have them in the workshop.

Post an thread in the Wanted section of the forum.

You need to upgrade to Full Membership before being able to post in that section (and some others)

Re: Nudge Bar Fittment

I've fitted nudge bars to 06/07 exy's from memory there's not a lot of cutting required, i think you could work it out fairly quickly. The easiest way to work it out yourself would be get 2" masking tape mask up your front bar where the nudge bar sits. Attach the bar via the 2 lower mount points and press it against the plastic front bar and trace around it with a marker then remove the nudge bar. Then measure the location of the top mount points on the nudge bar and mark these locations on the plastic font bar where you have masked.

Then remove the plastic front bumper and cut out those sections (again from memory you need a 50mm holesaw?) you attach the upper nudge bar supports to the bumper re-enforcement refit the plastic front bumper and attach the nudge bar to the upper and lower mounts.

good luck
