Hi Roger! emoticon

Thank you for showing your solutions.
I'm interested in your system to cargo storage.

So I bought some containers for the cargo area, and keeping some items/goods.
I continue to try another storage system too.

Thank you so much again, and I'm sorry to
delaying my appreciation for you. emoticon

Hi Yasu:

Nice to hear from you again.

Glad some of your storage issues are getting sorted out and am always only too willing to assist where I can.

No apologies needed - many times one will get lots of suggestions and it takes time to decide on or find the best one for your own individual needs.

Cheers = Roger

Hi Roger

I am interested in your storage compartment set up but unfortunately I can not see the pictures on the site. When I click on the link it takes me to imageshack but still I'm unable to see any pics.

Is there something wrong with the link by any chance????? emoticon

For the record, I purchased one of these..
Image
.. as a means to stop my dog sliding across the rear cargo area and smashing into the walls.

Boot Liner

The results were quite awesome. How awesome? Earlier this week I tested it with a six-pack. Leaving the beer sitting in the middle of the mat and not resting/leaning against anything, I was able to drive all the way home, around corners and through roundabouts, without any movement from the booze.

Definitely worth the price and thoroughly recommended.

Cheers! emoticon

LOL Why am not suprised emoticon Everyone of us would take GREAT care driving when there is booze at the back of our cars. hahahaha

Put your mother in law in there and see if you get the same results. hahahaha (just kidding)

Yo Jamie:

My stupidity is why you can't see the pics - - I edited my images in Image Shack and deleted a bunch.....

However, not being "completely" stupid, I do have a back-up position....will take me a while to track them down, but will try to post them again by tonight....

The pics are back in my original post and my stupidity level has been reduced by several points...

Hope they help you in some way.

Re: How to keep your items in the cargo area?

Hey, thanks Roger.

Nifty boxes indeed, especially as they fold up. I haven''t seen anything like that 'down under'.

I need to stop 4 fold up chairs and picnic rugs (weekend kiddie sports essentials) from sliding around so will look at getting one of the boot liners.

I could use a couple of these to carry the recovery gear in when going offroad, I usually carry them under the back floor panel in and around the spare wheel but as always, when needing to use it you have to empty out the trunk of the esky, and picnic basket, the balls, the bags and the chairs etc, etc, etc just to use the gear.

I might look around and see what I can find.

Thanks again mate! emoticon

Re: How to keep your items in the cargo area?

Jamie,

I have been looking all over Australia for these collapsible crates since Roger posted his photos in the original thread. I couldn't find them at all until last weekend!

I went to Westfield Shopping Centre to get something and saw a huge store called Howards Storage World so I walked in there and saw these boxes, unfortunately they only had the small size in stock, they're getting the larger ones around December or January.

Here is how they look like (I scanned their catalog)

Image

They're pretty colorful, but who cares, for good storage and saving space, I'll go with that with no problems emoticon

Check the store locations near you from their website and you might get lucky and find them in stock.

They're priced reasonably cheap too.
