Re: Is everyone happy with their "exy" horn?

Richi,

Thanks for the info mate, I was just trying to say they're bloody loud. hehehe

The 139db (I made a mistake when I said they were rated at 130db)is a reading taken from a distance of 4 inches from the source. 115db is their reading taken from 2 meters emoticon

Anyway, read all the technical info. about them and LISTEN to them HERE

Now that I heard how they sound, I want them even more!!

Jason, where are you mate? LOL

Re: Is everyone happy with their "exy" horn?

Jalal,
I went to the shop yesterday and there were out of stock for Stebels, I asked him when would more arrive? He told me he hasn’t placed any orders due to the low demand.
I will try and find another place over the weekend.
Any other goodies you might want?

Re: Is everyone happy with their "exy" horn?

I have just received the latest HELLA product guide and it lists a few upgraded 110+dB horns. Although there are no prices in this guide, the attached link has US prices to use as a guide.

The part numbers are the same for here in Australia.
HELLA

Re: Is everyone happy with their "exy" horn?

Guys, another way if you have contacts is get an electronic horn, I have seen and heard electronic horns, which are louder than air horns.
Sounds also can be changed to different types; I heard an echo sound like a pang pang pang pang pangggg (echoing). They also have animal sounds built in like Dog and Cat. Yeah, they are fun but they are very expensive and I have only seen them in Japan.
And…… yes they are illegal

Re: Is everyone happy with their "exy" horn?

OK Boyz,

I'm now able to source these exy red horns locally in Australia.

I got hold of 10 of them but will require confirmed orders before I bring them in emoticon

I'm taking a set for myself, so that leaves 9 of them.

Register your interest here emoticon

Beep Beeeep! emoticon

P.S. Jason was unable to source these from Malaysia, as the supplier he approached has jacked-up the price and the cost of having them posted to Australia would have been more than the price we can get them for locally. Thanks for trying Jason. Much appreciated.

I'll be #2.

I wouldn't mind changing my existing air horns to these.
