Extreme 98 Fuel??

Anyone used this fuel from 'On the Run' outlets. It is not BP Ultimate 98 but a different fuel...

Re: Extreme 98 Fuel??

Never heard of On the Run, but i put BP ultimate in mine and it does the trick anyway.. I once read an article in NRMA mag or something who tested all the major 98 fuels and there was little or no difference. I only go to BP cause its close to my house. U want a boost in fuel though, you wanna go to japan where 98 is the lowest you can get!

Noticed Shell has just released a 100 octane fuel with 5% ethanol. V8 supercars are using it this season. Not available at many outlets yet according to their website!

Yes Phil, I have used that for about 3 tanks and it didn't make much difference at all (except in price) plus Nissan does not recommend it for Nissan's manufactured before 2004

Re: Extreme 98 Fuel??

i always use caltex vortex 95, and it runs great, ive had vortex 98 in a few times and notice no difference between that and the 95.

using the 95 over the normal 91 is only a few $'s per tank and is deffinatly worth it, the car runs much smother and gets more ks per tank

Re: Extreme 98 Fuel??

I have been unable to find Shell V-Power anywhere for over 4 weeks now. I remember reading about it on the news where they said Shell has run out of stock ofthe V-Power, but I bet it has something to do with increase in oil prices.
