Re: Tweeters & Subwoofer Installation FAQ page

Sorry to post in an old thread, just wondering if anyone has installed tweeters in the series 5?

I popped off the speaker grille on the dash and was surprised to find little space in there and while hoping to see the wiring like the older models, looks like if it is there is hidden under the dash.

**EDIT** Added a pic I took of underneath the grille cover. For how little room there is I think genuine tweeters are the only option but i'm really curious as whether or not the wiring is there/easily accessible. Anyone know?

Re: Tweeters & Subwoofer Installation FAQ page

^^ Hey mate did you get the tweeters into your series 5. Has anybody found out anything new on this for the series 5. I would like to put tweeters in but dont want to pull the dash or doors apart so i can jump some wires up to them, i dont think it would be worth the time just for tweeters but if the wires are there hidden it would be.

Re:

Heres an update for the tweeter install on the series 5. The wires are there, they are taped up under the dash with the wires being the same colour as the door speakers and they have a small brown plug on them. the drivers side is easy to find it is pretty much straight under the access hole for the tweeter, the passenger side wire is in roughly the same position as the one on drivers side and you have to remove the glovebox to get to it, so it is fairly straight forward.
