Re: TX 3200 Installation Have fitted UHF to the lower of the two flip pockets. The din adaptor replaced the pocket completely. Power was picked up from the cigarette lighter wiring. Microphone stored in the lower compartment with the sliding doors. I will provide pics when get time to pull dash apart again.

Re: TX 3200 Installation Thanks for that tip, Phil.
If ElecTechy does the same thing (disconnecting the microphone) he could have a stealth installation too (although he mentioned that the DIN adaptor replaced the pocket completely, implying that there would not be the flip-down door any more). You'd probably need to make up some brackets to mount the DIN adaptor further back in the pocket and be able to retain the flip-down door. Mind you that would probably require complete destruction of the guts of the pocket behind the flip-down door - possibly to the point where the flip-down door may cease to function!
ElecTechy - even a photo of it installed would be good to see - we don't need to see photos of your dash in pieces as I'm sure there's enough photos of dismantled dash trims on here already

Re: TX 3200 Installation Looked at the stealth option but pocket is not deep enough to accept cradle & radio. Din kit fits well & makes it easy to swap to the wifes Navaran easy. Will forward some photos asap.
