X-Trail Caps Anyone?
Hi Guys,
I have located an X-Trail Cap overseas but the supplier doesn't have enough stock so I can import them.
Given the summer season is upon us and the "slip, slop, slap" motto is well and truly a good one to follow, in addition that this xtrail cap would be a nice item for any xtrail owner, I need your feedback.
I will try and have these caps made (printed or stitch embossed locally) if there is enough interested in them from members of this forum and their friends.
Please let me know if you'll be interested and if you can recommend a local business who might be able to help.
I estimate the price of these caps would be around the $25-$30 mark (based on the overseas price) but that depends on the quotes I'll get here of course.
Have a look at the sample I will be getting from overseas soon.

Re: X-Trail Caps Anyone?
Roger,
Thanks for the feedback, but do you have a design in mind? International one sounds good, but what more international can it be other than the X-TRAIL logo itself?

Re: X-Trail Caps Anyone?
OK, Jalal
The hat is a great idea, however we think we can do better with the design.
The design pictured doesn't have the same quality feel to it that we expect from our XTrail.
If we are going to have a cap, the logo could look better. We rather like your red Xtrail Factor picture that scrolls through on your postings, from your home page.
We have very creative embroidery services in Australia, with cap embroidery businesses in most Westfield shopping centres, so we should be able to come up with something a bit more interesting than they have overseas.
Something in Silver (chrome, lmho) and Red thread with black could look very attractive, I would think.
Although caps are popular, would there be any opportunity to do up some "bucket hats" too - thinking of your little tackers here (and Anita who gets sunburnt in 15 minutes or less), where a baseball cap doesn't cover enough to prevent sunburn.
If we can, as a forum come up with a design that we all like, does anyone know whether we could register it so that it could be replicated by the local embroidery businesses, rather than having to bulk order from interstate or overseas?
Keeping it local and relevant
Anita and Greg

Re: X-Trail Caps Anyone?
Thanks Greg & Anita,
If you're thinking of the xtrail factor logo I have created on my personal home page (below) then am afraid I can't use that exact logo, because it will be copy right (of Optus I think) but we can do something similar.
Does anyone like the xtrail logo and slogan displayed in my signature? I think this will be an international one indeed
Those Westfield businesses are pretty expensive as they pay the high rent through their nose, therefore prices would be far from being competitive I would think.
Good suggestion about the bucket hats too.
Keep the suggestions and ideas coming.

Re: X-Trail Caps Anyone?
Brett, if you leave the design to me, it'll be chrome all over (including the cap/hat) hahahaha
I have never seen a chrome cap before and you will be spotted from miles away wearing it LOL
The -X- inside my signature box looks like a good colour to have on a black hat (and any other colour background for that matter I think) being red&white will make it stand out heaps and would give it some depth and definition.

Re: X-Trail Caps Anyone?
Fair enough Justin, I had to show you guys something to give you an idea and my grandmother is not around to do anything fancy, so I used what I had
There are plenty of good ideas in this thread and I look forward to receive some more before the next step.
