Re: how fast ?

Yes, cruise control was not a standard option between 2001-2002, it became standard on all models late 2003.

Re: how fast ?

I ran the quater mile just once, got beaten off the start by an Astra...short attention span, I started listening to the commentary when I heard my name instead of paying attention to the Christmas Tree.

If I can find that time sheet I will let you know the figures......

Well, I bought mine in september 2004. At this point it was only available for the Executive version, not for the Sport Outdoor.

Re: how fast ?

Every country's line-up of the xtrail is different and features included are different too. We (in Australia) just got the xtrail with side airbags, all previous models did have that.

Re: how fast ?

My husband informed me my ET was 17.8 on the track............
I'm sure it could have gone better, definetly should have beaten the Astra, if I was paying more attention!

Re: how fast ?

Hi Guys,

I just came back from a one day run to Dubbo and back and what can I say? emoticon

I won’t mention any speeds records here, but I can only tell you that 2 red falcons and a Magna will be remembering a black/chrome exy for a very long time LOL emoticon

I actually saw the owners pull-up at Dubbo Zoo near my exy and started to check it out. hehehe

Nope, it's not a rocket guys I said, it is an exy with a Hi-Tech system LOL emoticon

Aah, and that was with me going up-hill with 4 people in the car and fully loaded. hehehehe

I loved the Mt. Victoria run too (as recommended by Brett) emoticon

Given the double-demerits this long weekend, all speeds were legal (or very close to it)

Re: how fast ?

On my way back from Darwin in this last week, was sitting at a comfortable 140 down the Stuart Highway getting closer to Three Ways, when i was passed by a red car going so fast it was out of sight just while i was noticing it... When i got to 3-Ways he'd just finished fueling up and i asked him what speed - 230kph. He driven over from Mt Isa in the morning, part of the way up the track, and was heading back home, to Mt Isa - all in the one day.
140 was fast enough for me, though I did overtake someone later on and found myself doing 155. It was nice to get over the border and slow down to a relaxing speed.
