Re: baby seats!

please don't put the childseat on the drivers side
Brett,
As you know we now have a 12 day old and a 22 month old so 2 baby seats in our exy is now required.
We recently purchased a SAFE'N'SOUND MAXI RIDER "NERO" Booster Seat for the 22 month old.
I currently have our 12 day old in the small baby seat facing backwards in the center and the new booster on the drivers side. Would you recommend that the booster be on the passenger side? Our 12 day old would still need to be taken out from the drivers side in this case. What are your thoughts?

Re: baby seats!
My suggestion Noel is to have the baby seat on the passenger's side and the booster seat in the middle.
Then you can use a harness (which you will need for the lap belt and purchased separately) for the toddler which could be clipped and unclipped from the front seats.
Your toddler would then climb through the front over the armrest.
Maybe your friendly baby shop might let you test it before you buy ?

Re: baby seats!
Noel,
I agree with Kev, you should move the seat to the passenger side. Just picture removing your 22 month old child, when parked on the side of the street. Passenger side is the grass, drivers side is the road. You accidentally trip on the passenger side, you might get a few grazes. You accidentally trip on the drivers side...
The only problem you will face, is this forces you to remove your newborn either across the childseat on the passenger side, or again, through the drivers side. You face a bit of a dilemma. But, as Kev suggests, access is possible via the front seats. May seem a little awquad(sic), but safety should be a priority, not convenience.
I'll be up there in July, so we can discuss it over a beer.

Re: baby seats!
Brett,
Suggestion was to have baby on passenger side and toddler in middle.
Then toddler climbs through middle and enters/exits by front passenger side.
No lifting of either over any other seat.
