Re: Spark Plugs Iridium LFR5AIX-11 1.1

Hi Julie,

You won't notice much with the Iridium spark plugs. The main reason we changed over was longer life of the spark plugs (60,000kms between changes) and better ignitablility.

It still won't hurt to do the quick ECU re-set as per the DIY Guide we have.

Re: OBX Spark Plugs Iridium

Thanks jalal for moving the post i realized i had put it in the wrong section. These plugs have the same numbers as Denso and even look like a Denso plug and made in japan.
Anybody used these or know anything about this brand or are OBX just a large parts company that gets their supplies made by outside companies and brands them as there own.cheers awaiting comments.

Re:

Are these still the best iridiums, or is there something better on the market now in 2012?
Mine have done 80,000 and thinking I oughta put a new set in at the 200,000km service in a couple weeks time.

Still the best Julie and you could probably find them for a good price now if you shop around.

Re: Spark Plugs Iridium

Just letting people know I managed to get the Iridium off ebay cheaper ($40) than standard local ($45)

The shop was "autopartssupplygroup"

Admin Edit: eBay link removed as per forum rules. Please don't post eBay links on our forum as they go dead after a while. Please describe the item in your post instead.

Re:

I was quoted today in Atherton $29 each, plus postage. Ouch. That was from Supercheap, and Repco was $10 more.

Can anyone recommend an online store please?
