***Australian X-Trail Forum Raffle***
Hi Guys,
I just thought we should do something different on our forum where everyone can participate and have fun!
I came-up with the Forum Raffle idea where every month or so we will be raffling an X-Trail or Nissan related item (brand new) and members will have a chance to take part in it.
Same idea as other club raffles applies here too.
I will offer an item for the raffle and then use the post to gather entries for a nominal price per entry. A date will then be set for the draw to take place.
In our case and because we have members all over Australia, entries will be tracked through the forum and payments will be collected as we go along through the On Line X-Trail Shop by emailing us with the number of entries you're after on:

At the conclusion of the raffle a draw will take place with direct participation of an independent member of the forum from Sydney (aside from the Admin Team)
that independant member and I will draw the name of the winner out of the hat and the member will announce the winner on the forum.
The prize item will then be posted to the winner 
Proceeds of these raffles will go towards the following:
1. Forum improvement.
2. Hosting Fees.
3. Administration Fees
4. Forum Stickers
5. Forum gathering drinks and stuff (if the kitty gets big enough)
Through-out the raffle process the Admin Team will be letting all members of the forum know how much we have in the kitty, so the process is quite honest and open in this regard and we haven't set this up for any personal gain, rather for your enjoyment!
OK, enough with the formalities and stay tuned for the first Australia X-Trail Forum Raffle that will be announced shortly tonight.

Hi Guys,
Without any further delay, I announce the start of Raffle Number 1
The prize item is a brushed stainless steel X-Trail Key Ring (as shown in the photos below)
  
This is a genuine Nissan accessory.
To take part in this raffle and for your chance to win this item, you will need to register your name here and state the number of entries you would like to buy.
$2.00 per entry is the set price for this item. Members can enter as many times as they like.
Minimum number of entries for the raffle to take place is Seven Entries
The draw will take place on 14th of June, 2006

I thought there was mention somewhere that we'd be able to buy the raffle tickets through the online store... Maybe I was just dreaming.
Only 4 days to go until raffle is drawn?! You may have to extend that date to allow more members to participate. Perhaps make a larger banner at the top of the page or something so it gets more noticed?
Put me down for two tickets too.

Date has been extended by a further one week (new draw date is now 14/6/06). I was actually very close to withdrawing this whole idea due to lack of participation, but I thank you guys for getting behind it.
Just in case you haven't noticed already, the running banner at the top of every forum page has been there since this thread has been created
Thanks for your support guys and am sure this will be fun for all.
P.S. The raffle can not take place unless the minimum number of entries is met.
