Re: New Forum Colour Theme
Thanks Pete.
152 seconds for people using 28.8 dial-up connection is "painfully" slow according to my standards (I had dial-up before).
Sorry guys, as much as I love this new banner, it would have to go for further "reduction" in size
Will keep you posted and sorry to cause you any inconvenience.

Mate, if Dr. Watson says it's slow, then it must be
The previous report was much clearer though.

probably best to go to the sites and run it through yourself as it really difficult trying to format it neatly - the checks take about 20 seconds,
Doing so as I type this. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Forum Enhancements
Hi Guys,
I have renamed this thread to read "Forum Enhancements" as this where all feature and appearance enhancements and changes to our forum will be announced.
You're encouraged to use this thread to provide any feedback on any of the changes we're implementing.
I fully realise that not everyone will be happy with some of the changes taking place, as each one of us has different views and colour tastes but if we can make the majority happy with the changes and at the end enhance the appearance of our forum and make it more user friendly, then I think it can be passed for a good change.
Having said the above you will soon notice major changes to the top forum control text (example: where it currently says "user control panel; inbox and the rest)
We hope you like them.

Re: Forum Enhancements
Hi Guys,
By now some of you would have noticed the major changes we have rolled-out to the top section of control bar.
We have converted all of the text links in the control task bar to clickable buttons which gives our forum more professional look and feel and also makes it easier for you to identify.
Also, we have created a "super version" of the Forum Search button which can be easily seen by all. No more excuses for missing this one LOL
The on line x-trail shop banner has also been moved from the top, as it was getting a bit crowded there
The support link to Runboard Support Forums has also been moved along other control buttons.
Apart from that the functionality remains the same.
Hope you like the changes.

Just made a post to the forum and noticed that the fonts (within the post) have changed.
Don't know how others feel about the new look - unless it was just a glitch but I like it - makes it much easier to read..........
Cheers
Hi Roger,
I actually noticed exactly the same just now and thought, I have done something wrong, because I have not changed anything in terms of "posts fonts" so my bet it is a glitch. It seems only to show itself when you quote a message and add a reply within the same post (like am doing now)
If you make a new post then the font is normal (example: your post above)
Something was happening last night, as most of the forums (including Runboard Support) were down last night.
Let me try and find-out what happened and I'll let you guys know.
